A detailed guide to the AAGBI e-Learning site

26 Aug 2016

We've been working with the Association of Anaesthetists of Great Britain and Ireland on their e-Learning site since 2013.

Earlier this year, the site started using our upgraded video e-Learning platform.

We've improved our streaming system that allows lecture videos to run alongside their corresponding slides, and have also made the website fully responsive.

The full Learn@AAGBI website features journal articles, conference and lecture videos, and a My CPD page to record completed learning. Full content is accessible through a secure login on the homepage, pictured below.

Once signed in, the search homepage allows users to search for videos and articles by category, GMC Evaluation area, training level or by conference.

By choosing one of these options, the user is then directed to video and article listings, categorized by A-Z, Popular and Latest content.

As with all video content on our e-Learning platform, each lecture video appears alongside its relevant slides, streaming  simultaneously in an adjoining panel. Other slides are available to view via the tracker bar underneath.

Once users have watched a video, they can complete a reflective learning form for that topic. These forms- and CPD certificates- are stored in the user's 'MyCPD' page, where they can be downloaded or printed for annual appraisals.

We believe our video-based e-Learning provides organisations like the AAGBI with a valuable CPD resource. You can read more about Inclusive's video-based e-Learning platform here.
