Inclusive's production team ventured out in April to film an interview with acclaimed author Diana Preston in her London home.
The interview was being filmed for Centenary News, a news website dedicated to coverage of the First World War. Centenary presenter Ashlee Godwin spoke with Diana about her most recent book, 'A Higher Form of Killing: Six Weeks in World War I that Forever Changed the Nature of Warfare'.
The book charts six pivotal weeks in Spring of 1915 that saw unprecedented methods and means of warfare being used for the first time. These included the first use of poison gas, at Ypres in April 1915; the sinking of the passenger liner, the Lusitania by a German u-Boat; and finally the first Zeppelin air raid, carried out over London in late May 1915.
