National Jazz Archive upgrade

21 Oct 2016

Inclusive has updated the NJA website, to allow the site to stream more audio and video content online.

As part of the website’s Jazz Stories section, our upgrades will enable the Archive to include audio and video clips of old performances and interviews, as well as new content from ongoing projects.

These improvements were made as part of the Intergenerational Jazz Reminiscence Project, a Heritage Lottery funded scheme that encourages young and old jazz enthusiasts to share their stories.

The Unversity of Essex will interview local jazz musicians, promoters and organisers. Events and workshops are also taking place in the area as part of the project.

These are being recorded and will be made available online later this year. You can read more about the upgraded website on our blog.
