Notts TV, part-owned by Inclusive Digital, has picked up SIX nominations for Midlands Royal Television Society Awards.Here's the Notts TV press release:

Royal Television Society Awards – Notts TV picks up SIX nominations

Notts TV has been short-listed for six Royal Television Awards, including best factual programme and best news programme.

The short-list was announced today and the nominations include the 6:30 show for Best News Programme, as well as The Noise Floor for Best Factual Programme.

Notts TV’s presenter Frances Finn, has been nominated for Best On Screen Personality and Best New Talent.

Thrilled to be nominated, Frances said: “I’ll admit to being a teensy bit pleased about the nominations. There are some talented people in the Midlands, so to be mentioned alongside them is lovely.”

James Brindle, Channel Director for Notts TV believes that getting six RTS nominations so early on in the Channel’s life is testament to the dedication and ambition of the team.

“Everyone who works at Notts TV is committed to making the best possible programmes for viewers in Nottingham and beyond.”

He also congratulated Frances and said: “I’ve worked with Frances for eight years now and know how well she connects with an audience.”

“She’s absolutely passionate about Notts, its people and places. Her ability to entertain, tell stories, share experiences and reflect local life shows off her incredible versatility.”

Notts TV has also been nominated for Best Digital Innovation and Best Factual Programme.
