Inclusive is opening a website and app development production office in Barcelona in Spain.
The office opens on Monday March 7th 2016.
Barcelona has become a major European centre for website and digital developments, with a particular focus on PHP and app development work.
Inclusive’s senior web developer Javier Prieto will lead on setting up the office, and will travel between London and Barcelona to keep across the company’s digital workload.
Inclusive’s CEO, Nigel Dacre, said: “This is a really important development for the company. Our current development team is more or less fully booked up with projects for the next six months, and we needed to work out a way to grow our operations in a cost effective and flexible way. We think that moving part of our digital work to Barcelona is the answer – as the city has a large development talent pool and low production costs. It’s also becoming a really interesting city for digital innovation. For all these reasons, it’s going to be great to have a production team there.”
Javier said: “I’m really looking forward to setting up the office in Barcelona. On a personal level, it will be nice to be working in Spain again (I’ve been in London for over five years). But there’s no doubt that Barcelona is an exciting place to be for digital work, so professionally this is a good time to open up there.”
