Notts TV launch

The new Local TV channel for Nottingham and surrounding areas has launched on Freeview Channel 8.

The channel is owned and operated by a consortium made up of Nottingham Trent University, Confetti Media, the Nottingham Post, and Inclusive Digital.

Programmes on the first day included the Notts TV News, the 6.30 Show, Mass Bolero, A Day in the Life, the Channel 8 Debate, Working Week, Noise Floor and The Boys of ’79.

Inclusive Digital has been closely involved in the development of the channel – playing a key role in the formation of the Notts TV consortium, writing the original bid application to Ofcom, helping organise the daily Notts TV News coverage, producing programmes, and being part of the executive Board that operates the channel.
